Brenda Baker
Brenda Baker works at Providence Health & Services as a Compensations Supervisor. In her spare time she is either bringing, picking up, traveling to competition, or watching her daughter, Kristin, skate as a member of the Lakewood Winter Club. She is married to Bob and also has a son, Ryan. As a Lakewood Winter Club Board Member, Brenda will work hard at representing the parents of skater and the skaters themselves to be the best they can be in this fantastic sport of figure skating.

Jessica (Steves) Claypool
I have been skating at Sprinker Recreation Center since 2005 and have been a member of the Lakewood Winter Club since 2006. I have represented the LWC as a skater at various competitions and events in the Pacific Northwest including Reflections On Ice and have recently become an Adult Gold Medalist in MITF and Free Skate. I am looking forward to the opportunity to further my involvement with the LWC by serving on the Board of Directors.

Rebecca Kinney
I am Rebecca Kinney and I have been a skater mom for four and a half years at Sprinker. Grace found ice skating shortly after we moved here and has not looked back. My four year old, Julia, has been skating almost two years and loves it just as much. When I am not at the rink, I have been on the PTA as yearbook advisor for the past two years and will take a break next year. I have also been on the Property Improvement Committee with our ROA, I have volunteered in our elementary schools and have also subbed when needed. I also have my own jewelry business and have fun selling at various bazaars. I love to volunteer, and being a mom and wife, it definitely keeps me busy. I feel that I have a better understanding of the skating world as it is a learning cur e and I would love to help people along the way and get them more involved in our club.

Renee Myrtvedt
Renee Myrtvedt has been involved in figure skating for almost 8 years with her two daughters Nina and Kjersti. She is currently serving on the Lakewood Winter Club Board of Directors and would love to continue doing so. Serving on the board for the past two years has been a great learning experience and a lot of fun. In the past, Renee has served on PTA boards and has done hours of volunteer work in her daughters’ school and church. She is looking forward to continuing her growth of knowledge where figure skating is concerned, and the in and outs of USFS.

Quinna Rogers
My name is Quinna Rogers and I have been a skating mom for almost 5 years. My daughter is Tiffany and she has been skating since we stumbled upon Sprinker when she was 9 years old.

I have been involved with the LWC Board of Directors in various capacities for the past three and half years and have served as the Club's President for the last year.

In addition to my contributions on the Board, I also manage the Club's website, am one of the Club's delegates to the Pacific Northwest InterClub (PNIC) and Pacific Coast Sectionals, and helped to lead the Friends of Sprinker group to save Sprinker from being closed permanently.

I am very dedicated to advancing the best interests of the Lakewood Winter Club and appreciate your support.

Shawn Schuler
Shawn has been a member of the Lakewood Winter Club since 2004. She supports her daughter, Brittney, in her love of figure skating. She has been a Tacoma native her entire life, graduating from Washington High School. After graduating from Central Washington University with a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing, she worked as a sales representative for a national school photography company for several years. She has served in several volunteer positions, most notably 10 years on the board as treasurer and tax liaison of a local preschool. She is a huge supporter of the revitalization of Sprinker. She currently lives in Tacoma with her husband and three children.
