Membership Information
The Lakewood Winter Club was formed in 1939 for the sole purpose of supporting the sport of Figure Skating. Its membership is generally comprised of people from the Pierce County area but has members from all over the Northwest and even some from other parts of the United States. It is an organization that is rich in tradition and is very well known all over the United States.
While The Lakewood Winter Club welcomes all members, skaters generally need to reach a certain level in their skating before joining the Club. If you are interested in becoming a member of The Lakewood Winter Club, discuss it with your coach and they can provide you with guidance as to whether you or your skater is ready to join The Lakewood Winter Club and U.S. Figure Skating.
If you have discussed it with your coach and are ready to join our club, your coach can provide you with a Membership Packet. Membership forms can be turned it in to the Sprinker Control Room or mailed to our Membership Chairperson.
Membership Information
The Lakewood Winter Club offers various Membership Types to meet our members' needs. The primary membership types are: Regular Adult, Regular Parent, and Special Junior.
We also offer a half-year membership for new members that have never joined our Club before. Half-year memberships run from January through June.
We are now also offering a Collegiate Membership for our members who are enrolled in an accredited college. Collegiate memberships are 4-year memberships and can only be used once. The Collegiate member must provide proof of college enrollment at the time of membership but isn't required to provide proof of college enrollment for the duration of the 4-year period.
