Ryan Jahnke Seminar - March 20
Seminar is open to all skaters Pre-Preliminary and up. Must have a firm grasp of single jumps.

This all-day seminar will feature Ryan Jahnke, PSA Master Rated coach in freestyle and field moves. He will be teaching from his extensive experiences of both competing and coaching within the International Judging System (IJS) since its inception.

Ryan’s competitive accomplishments include 10 years on the U.S. Figure Skating Team and 7 medals at the U.S. National Championships. He represented the United States at competitions in 9 different countries and earned a spot on the 2003 World Team.

Ryan is currently a National and Jr. National coach, and has served on the U.S.F.S. Board of Directors, Athletes Advisory, Sports Medicine, Singles, International, Parents’, Basic Skills, and Membership committees, and as the U.S. athlete representative to the ISU Congress.

This seminar will also include Paula Wagener, a PSA Master Rated Style Coach and Choreographer who is classically ballet trained. She has been the recipient of several dance choreography awards as well the artistic coach for skaters of all levels including world medalists and Olympic champions. Paula

Annual Membership Meeting - April 21
The Lakewood Winter Club will be holding its annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, April 21 at 6:30pm. The agenda is still forthcoming and will be available in the near future. Two items that will be on the agenda are Board of Directors Elections and Bylaw amendments. We encourage all of our members to attend the annual Membership Meeting. We are also seeking members for Board of Director Nominations. If you are interested in being nominated for the Board of Directors, please contact a member of our Nominating Committee: Edna Edwards, Jennifer Bowman, and Megan Peterson.


Bylaw Amendment Meeting - March 2
The Lakewood Winter Club is amending its current Bylaws. A meeting to present the proposed amendments to the membership is scheduled for Tuesday, March 2 at 6:30pm. We encourage all of our members to attend the Bylaws Amendment Meeting to learn what changes are being proposed. A vote on the proposed changes will occur at the Annual Membership Meeting on April 21. For more information, see the Membership Meeting page


Award Banquet - May 8
The Lakewood Winter Club will be holding its annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, May 8 from 1-3pm at the Tacoma Country & Golf Course. More information about cost, menu, and directions will be available soon.

Have items to sell and want to rent a table? Let us know and we can reserve a table for you! Fees for table rental are $5.00 or 10% of your sales, whichever is greater. Contact us and we can help you reserve a table today!

Have items to sell but don’t want to have a table? Let the Club sell your items for you! The fee for the Club selling your items is 20% of your total sales. If you’re interested in the Club selling your items for you, Contact us and we can help you make those arrangements.
